Poto

Poto - The big book of short stories is a handsome publication, edited by Michelle Elvy & Kiri Piahana-Wong and published by Massey University Press. The concept was to gather a host of short stories / flash and publish these in both Te Reo and English, a significant first in NZ - Aotearoa publishing. The book includes 100 stories by 100 writers. I was delighted to be one of those with my prose poem A Day Like No Other - first collected in Letter to 'Oumuamua and incidentally the title of my new Selected Poems to be published in March, 2026. The Christchurch event to launch the book was at Common Ground, Lyttelton where the many local writers whose work featured read their work.
