We're going ahead!

At a meeting this week, the CPC committee decided to proceed with this year's spring programme of readings at the Imagitech Theatre at the Ara Institute, Madras Street.

Of course, the uncertainty of staging public events while coronavirus was still a major threat had given us pause. But with the move to Level One and the continued absence of community transmission, we have been given enough confidence to go ahead. Fingers crossed!

We have a great line-up this year and almost all have reconfirmed including Elizabeth Smither, Lisa Samuels, Nick Ascroft, Helen Rickerby, Robert McLean, Michelle Elvy and Bob Orr.

We also have a great line-up of local readers planned.

The readings will take place between 23 September and 11 November.
